We’re introducing different payout levels for all sellers on EyeEm Market as of February 1st, 2021. These payout levels determine the revenue share that you will receive each time you sell an image license via EyeEm Market including our third-party distribution sites (e.g. Getty Images, Adobe Stock).
Your payout level is calculated based on the revenue that you generated via EyeEm Market in the last 12 months. For determining your revenue, we look at all your sales via EyeEm Market during that time. If your revenue exceeds a certain threshold, the so-called Revenue Threshold, you will receive the respective License Revenue Share.
Here’s an example: If you’ve sold image licenses worth $5,500 of revenue in the last 12 months, your new License Revenue Share is 45% which will be applied to all your image license sales after February 1st, 2021. Assuming you’ve sold $1,000 in image licenses in February 2021, you will receive $450 with the next payout.

Your License Revenue Share can change. We reassess your Payout Level on a quarterly basis. If you reach a higher Payout Level, you will stay in it for at least the next 12 months and can only be moved to a Lower Payout Level after a year. However, if you increase your image license sales you have the chance to move to the next Payout Level every quarter. So, you can move up quickly but move down more slowly.
*Please note that our updated Terms of Service come into effect on February 1st, 2021 and payouts will begin reflecting the changes in March 2021.
